1. CUT TAXES FOR EVERYONE
New Jersey taxpayers deserve relief across the board. Cut the state income tax to account for two decades of inflation. Drop the sales tax back down to 6%. Double the Veteran Property Tax deduction. Eliminate the marriage penalty on couples making $50,000. And finally let New Jerseyans deduct charitable gifts.
2. FIX OUR SCHOOLS
The current school funding formula is arbitrary and nefarious. Property taxpayers in Allamuchy shouldn’t subsidize schools in Asbury Park. Scrap it and redefine “local fair share”. Dawn and Mike are strong advocates for school choice and the right of parents to have a say in their kids’ education. Stop politicians from inserting their woke agendas and get back to basics.
3. SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS
One third of small businesses in New Jersey were shuttered due to Governor Murphy's heavy-handed COVID policies. It's no wonder that New Jersey is ranked among the worst states in the country to do business. Let’s change that by exempting the first $50,000 in small business income from taxes, reducing the corporate tax rate from its national high, and deregulating wherever we reasonably can. We should also eliminate taxes on the sale of a family-owned business.
4. BACK THE BLUE
More than 14,000 cars were stolen in New Jersey last year. Thanks to cashless bail, criminals go through a revolving door before committing their next crime. Let’s get back to what works: support our police, end cashless bail for serious crimes, and stiffen penalties for repeat offenders. Protect parental notification of underage drug and alcohol use. And always support our volunteer first responders.
5. PROTECT OUR RIGHTS IN NORTHWEST JERSEY
New Jersey has the toughest gun laws in America, disproportionately impacting responsible gun owners in northwest New Jersey. Dawn and Mike are gun owners and NRA members who will always protect our 2nd Amendment rights. They are also outspoken proponents of the bear hunt to control New Jersey’s growing black bear population.
- Our State is taxing, spending, and borrowing more than ever before, with the State budget jumping from $35 billion to $50 billion in just five years.
- Families are being split apart as seniors seek relief in more affordable states, taking $25 billion in income with them from 2011 through 2019.
- Our values are under attack by Governor Murphy and the far-left who don’t understand our way of life in northwest NJ and ignore our needs.
