Since announcing their candidacies for Senate and Assembly last month, the conservative team of Parker Space, Dawn Fantasia, and Mike Inganamort have faced near-daily attacks from anonymous blogs called “Jersey Conservative” and “Sussex Watchdog.”
First and foremost, it’s critical that you know that both blogs are run – and largely authored – by Steve Lonegan’s political consultant, who happens to live in New Hope, Pennsylvania.
In other words, these blogs are:
The attacks have ranged from old news to fake news to personal smears:
Parker Space has been accused of racism:
TRUTH: Assemblyman Space has tattoos. This is old news and he long ago rebutted attacks from Democrats and the media on this front. A competing conservative blog labeled the hit pieces “far left” and an attempt to “cancel Space”.
Dawn Fantasia has had her personal life questioned:
TRUTH: A few weeks ago, the blog referenced Fantasia’s “dating” life. Is that where our politics are now? An unmarried, adult woman is not permitted a personal life if she wants to seek higher office?! As a duly elected County Commissioner and candidate for State Assembly, she deserves better.
Mike Inganamort has been falsely attacked as a ‘woke’ corporatist:
TRUTH: Inganamort works at a firm where he manages marketing and communications for clients. He doesn’t do any ESG related work. None. Zero.
In fact, he has fought against human trafficking and for tax cuts, and before that, Inganamort worked for conservative Rep. Scott Garrett, trained at the Heritage Foundation, and started a pro-life student organization in college. Does that sound ‘woke’ to you? We didn’t think so.
Why is it important that we share this information?
Since the attacks started, the Space-Fantasia-Inganamort team has prospered – racking up dozens of endorsements from Republican leaders and grassroots conservatives across the district. These men and women know where these attacks are coming from and what they are about, but…
A handful of other good Republicans have called, emailed or texted with concerns, unaware of the connection between these blogs and the Lonegan, Aikens, Sarnoski team. We are hopeful this helps to clear up those questions and set the record straight.
One other thing for you to consider.
The blogs have also sought to blame the Space-Fantasia-Inganamort team for the 2016 gas tax in New Jersey and to suggest they are puppets of a prominent building trades union. Again, none of this is true.
But, it is ironic considering…
The author of the blogs was a paid consultant to that same union for years and used these same blogs to doggedly and effectively defend the gas tax legislation and Senator Steve Oroho’s support of it at the time.
For the record…
Parker Space voted “NO” on the gas tax as an Assemblyman.
Dawn Fantasia was a local elected official in Franklin at the time.
Mike Inganamort hadn’t even been elected in Chester Township yet.
Long story, short. Next time you hear us accused of something terrible via one of these anonymous blogs… consider the source…

In other words, these blogs are:
- NOT “fair and balanced”
- NOT an authority of New Jersey, Sussex or Conservatives
- ARE written and emailed to you for the sole purpose of injuring Parker Space, Dawn Fantasia and Mike Inganamort and lifting up their opponents.
